Ben Nye Color Cake Foundations are widely used in theater and dance performances as both a face and body foundation. Great for all skin types (dry to oily and younger to older), these foundations provide light to medium translucent coverage and can be layered for more opacity. It’s ideal for stage, character, dance, cosplay, period beauty looks, and Halloween makeup.

Color Cake Foundation sets as it dries, requiring no setting powder, and is durable and long-lasting.

how to use

With a damp Hydra Sponge or sea sponge, work the cake foundation into a creamy consistency. Apply to clean, dry skin in manageable sections stippling or patting for consistent coverage. Rehydrate the sponge as needed. Color Cake Foundation will set as it dries, so no powder is needed.

For a smoother finish, buff with your hands or the Ben Nye Complexion Brush PBS-1 as the foundation starts to dry. To remove, gently wipe off makeup with Hydra Cleanse or warm soapy water.
