K.D. 151 Matte Lace Adhesive

K.D. 151 Extra Strength Ultra Matte Lace Adhesive is a professional-strength adhesive specifically designed for laced hair wigs, pieces, moustaches, or beards. It’s one of the most popular adhesives used on Broadway, and for film and television because of its durability and matte finish, providing an extremely strong hold that blends undetectably into skin when used on high-quality lace hairpieces.

For the strongest hold, apply a moderate coat of adhesive to skin. Then tack the adhesive using a finger, sponge, or nylon wig cap until matte.
Apply a second coat and press the lace into wet adhesive, then lift. Tack skin until 80% matt.
Press wet lace back down onto skin and tack lace until entirely matte.
Use 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove from skin and to clean the lace.
